Does anyone know the year of this set? It looks like this set contains wrong mini bottle... I doubt that this set is from 1984.  

I think the set should contain one of those "TALL NECK" 1/10 pint minis... but don't know from which year.

Not sure of the exact year Kriz, but the set is from the 60's. 1984 is definitely not right. This is a nice, and VERY rare set when complete and original.

Exactly ..................... but the mini what is inside is not the right, it must be with a metal cap!!!  

Check on Jeepee's site.  There is a picture of one on the Black Label Miniatures page.  He did not have a date there either but perhaps Lutz might be able to recognize the bottle.

I looked at Jeepee's site and it looks like a wrong bottle in his photo also. Looks to short for the paper insert.

I was looking at Richard's collection thread and his set has a plastic cap mini from the 1980's as well.

LUTZ! Do you know what years they made the TALL 1/10 pint minis?  

In the "Another Collection to View" thread, reply 5 on page 1, (Old Bottles & Jugs) there is a picture of one of these. I know for a fact it is an original.

Hey Kris just send it to me I have several correct minis from that time frame !!!

Take a look .................   I think this is the origin mini! The Cameo mini set come out in the middle of sixties and must have a embossed mini with metal cap, the short neck and eagle seal, inside! JMO

Thanks Mike... it looks like a Tall Neck 1/10 mini from Early 60's with Embossing on the back. (the mini is sitting behind the insert that's why it looks short)

Here is how the set should look like MINUS the TWA logo on the label...   (bottle on the left is the short neck bottle)

Now I have to find this mini without the TWA logo...
