Has anyone ever wondered how big the Jack Daniel warehouses were and how much whiskey was in them? We were sitting in the Visitor's Center today talking to a tour guide. We asked these questions and got some interesting facts:

There are 74 warehouses on the Jack Daniel property.
Each warehouse is 7 stories tall.
There are 20,160 barrels in each warehouse.
There are approximately 1,000,000 (million) gallons of whiskey in each warehouse.
Jack Daniel's Distillery pays $13.50 in federal taxes for each gallon of whiskey it makes.
Jack Daniel's Distillery pays $14,000,000 (million) in federal, state, and local taxes each year for EACH warehouse.
For every gallon of Jack Daniel whiskey made, 60% goes to taxes.
The Distillery makes 2,000 barrels of whiskey a day.....4-5 days per week.
