Jack Daniels

1895 Replica

Released 1992

From 1866 to 1895, Jack Daniel only sold his whiskey in barrels, kegs and stoneware jugs. Lem Motlow, Mr. Jack's nephew, thought his uncle should sell his whiskey in glass bottles. Mr. Jack finally conceded when the glass salesman suggested, "A square shooter like you, Mr. Daniel, should have a bottle to match." This one litre bottle is a replica of the first square bottles used and commemorates that special event.
