In 1904, Jack Daniel surprised the entire world by
winning the Gold Medal for best whiskey in the competition at the World's
Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. To commemorate this honour, Mr. Jack
commissioned a special commemorative decanter.
This half-gallon reproduction of that bottle was released
in 1971 by the distillery which was the first Jack Daniel's commemorative
bottle to be made available to the general public.

This decanter has been re-released (March 2004) to
celebrate 100 years since Jack Daniel won his first Gold Medal.
