Mr. Jack had planned to have a special decanter made to present to Theodore Roosevelt at the time of his re-election for the presidency, but Teddy withdrew from the election and the decanter idea was scrapped.

In 1984, the 80th anniversary of Roosevelt's presidency, this 1.75 litre "Inaugural Bottle" was commissioned in memory of Mr. Jack's great admiration of his country's 26th president. 

This bottle was also re-released during 1985
