Released 1971 (US Version) & 1995 (European Version)
The Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee was
famous for more than just its coffee. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey was
the exclusive whiskey served by this grand hotel. Lem Motlow, Jack
Daniel's nephew, designed this special bottle for the hotel's famous Oak
Bar.
This half-gallon reproduction of this bottle was made
available in 1971

The booklet on the right is an extremely rare 1971
Maxwell House booklet.
The writing on the front is white rather than gold and
several of the pages are different, for example on page 1 of the 'white
version' the text starts at the top of the page and includes information
about registering the bottle with the distillery, whereas the 'gold
version'. starts half way down the page, is headed 'introduction' and
doesn't contain registration details. |
