I have written a thread on Jack Daniel's in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

I think we need to research Jack Daniel's in Nashville, Tennessee.

I was reading my Jug Book the other day and found this written about Jack Daniel's in Nashville.

Read the last sentence.

Michael Ryan owned the Peerless Distillery in Nashville and bought whiskey from The Jack Daniel Distillery.

Here is a jug and bottle from the Peerless Distillery. They are both early 1900's.

We all know WT & CD Gunter sold Jack Daniel whiskey in the late 1800's-early 1900's in Nashville.

Here are a few of their items.

I know a few collectors have some F.W. Baker bottles and jugs. I hope you will post pictures of them here on the Forum.

I also know the Tennessee Distilling Company sold Jack Daniel's whiskey out of Nashville. Jimmy has posted pictures of these items.

Are there any other Nashville Distributors that sold Jack's whiskey?

That is all the information I have. I hope other collectors will add information to this thread.

No Rich, they did not. None of the Distillery's or Distributors in Chattanooga or Nashville that bought whiskey from Jack Daniel's had his name on the labels or jugs except Gunter. Laws were different back then.

Here is a one gallon, beehive, F. W. Baker jug from the late 1800's. It was probably filled at one time with Jack Daniel's whiskey.

Thanks Jimmy! Those are the pictures we were looking for. Great stuff! It is now good to know that a lot of our SOB's have Jack Daniel history behind it.

Hey Mike, you are going to love this one. Not only does it tie Tennessee Distilling Company to Jack Daniels and Cascade, but it also announces that they have left Nashville and set up shop in Evansville. And as an added bonus, it mentions that they formerly were located opposite the Maxwell House. :)

This one is getting framed. ;)

Very nice piece Jimmy. I was watching this one but decided that if I branched out I would never see the end of it. Glad someone on the forum picked it up.
