Picked this up recently. It is an early 1900's Peerless Whiskey Back Bar Bottle from Nashville, Tennessee. These old Back Bar Bottles are very hard to find.
The Peerless Whiskey bottles & jugs have Jack Daniel history which you can read in this thread.

Good catch.  Not only is the bottle design similar, but the labels are close too.

I found a cool article today that mentions a tie between this and Jack.

 

By 1896 the market for and reputation of Jack Daniel's famous sour mash whiskey had greatly increased, thanks in some measure to his agent, M. Ryan, in Nashville.
