Was driving by the barns yesterday and noticed the large barn that was falling in is now gone. (Sorry, I did not have my camera). The barn has been bulldozed down and there is now nothing there but a field.

Another piece of Jack Daniel/Lem Motlow history is gone.

Hate to say it, but I predict the Jack Daniel Church will be gone before too long. Nobody has the resources, time, or desire to maintain these old historical sites. Such a shame.

Well, it is finally happening.
Lem's old barn is getting ready to be a thing of the past.
The Motlow heirs and the Distillery are letting another Lynchburg landmark be destroyed.
This old barn was built to last, but needs repairs.
Nobody seems to care.
Again, such a shame.

That is sad to see such a historical building self destruct like it was nothing important.  Seems like someone would have tried to do something to save this land mark !!!
