Very nice item, the description is:

Up for auction is a very rare Jack Daniels Rock with the Cameo insert in it. These are from the late 1960's from what I understand. It is in grate shape and has Jack Daniels carved in the front and it also says Jack Daniels Lynchburg Tennessee on the rear. It weighs a few pounds and is about 6 - 7 inches tall 4 -5 inches deep. USA bidders to pay $6.50 insured shipping International Bidders to pay rates to their country which should run $15-25 airmail.

Good luck to those interested :) :)

I certainly don't think it's fake but it's possible that it's a broken stand that has been tidied up - ask the seller if there are any signs that it is - I'm sure he'll give an honest answer ;)

This item is a part of a bigger counter display. Back in the 60-ties you could buy a few different piece that makes one large display. This piece that is up for auction was the middle piece. You can put two piece in the side of this middle display on which you can plce your display bottles.
I got pitures of this counter display on my site (from the point of purchase catalog also from the 60-ties).

See attached picture/scan.

I have one just like the one on ebay , it has a slot on each side for a add on tray , as in JP pics, I'll get some pic soon and post it. $400 seems a little high to me . But They are hard to come by !!!

So, in almost 10 years the price increased just a little.
This Cameo rock is great. A shame it misses the bottle stand

The auction ended at this price
