If one had a nice clean label (not on a bottle)..it would be easy to make one of these bottles.. A scan, resize, print on label stock, and cut.

Yep, thats right! But a mini with green cap in 50 ml size is very hard to find and would ruin the "low sale price" :o/> :D/>
I must me wondered, how many guys think about over a "Fake" from this bottle :o/> thats crime ............. :D/> :D :D I hope the high bidder is not a forum member :-//>

I think the issue of whether its ethical to sell a home made product is wearing very thin.
Personally I like the bottle. The seller is not trying to pass it off as authentic, but as a custom made bottle. There are plenty more examples of good fake bottles that I would love to own, and most seem to go for appropriate prices.
I can understand peoples disgust if the sellers are misleading the public, but the bottom line is (in most cases) both buyers and sellers know whats going on. I fail to see a downside, maybe Im missing something.
I dont know the seller or bidders on this item, but im proud to say that I have an engraved TSA bottle in my collection which is not genuine, but I dont feel ripped off and it takes pride of place with the other TSA stuff. I like the old 1/2 pint bottles with the reproduced labels, I reckon they look great and the MD minis look wondersful also, I hear they arent the real deal but not sure.
In conclusion I think its up to every collector to decide whats important to them, and they shouldnt be critisized for that. I hope I havent offended anyone. :K)/>

having one in your collection that you made one yourself is one story. SELLING one even though it's fake is totally WRONG. What if the buyer decides to re-sell this bottle as the real thing in the next few months? :(/>

Exactly... selling this .. to even someone who knows that it is not "real".... what happens to the next buyer that it gets sold to but the owner, be it this person who bought it .. or a relative.. or an estate sale.. would not know the difference and would sell it as is... and some poor collector in the future could mistake this for something real... and pay big bucks for this one of a kind .. hard to find... item..

Thank goodness for this forum... so all the members here can ask before buying!!

OK, here we go with a little photoshop help from Roy here is a Lem label that you can print out and make your own homemade Lem mini rather than buy them from ebay :)/> no mistaking this for genuine in the future as Roy has added a little text to the side "Not an Original Label - For Collection Purpose Only" ;D/>

first image is so you can see it clearer on here but the second one should be just about the right size ready to print ;)/> thanks Roy !
