Is it the flash or does it have a slight purple tint in the glass ?

JD bottles, seasonal short term manufacturing ~ had to pay a premium to have them made at the time where bottle price was a big consideration ~ these took a little more handy work to do... JMHO...

bad pic but there where 2 sizes made....

Those are some fine bottles !! Wild to see three of then in one pic..and a fine picture it is in my opinion. You are fortunate to have three of them..

Just saw this thread and thought I'd put up a picture of my two, like Gene's the larger bottle has a slight purple tint to it. I just love the neck on these!

well got a nice quart bottle in the mail today !!! ;)/> Chris likes these swirly top bottles !!! This one has a little purple tint to it. Lots of air bubbles . if anyone is interested in this one Pm me.

Does anyone know if any of these bottles came with a long metal top on them? What is the value of a 1 pint bottle?

The picture on JeePee's site shows a metal top on it. It is on the 1st page of this thread.
I have seen these bottles bring anywhere from $30-$300. I know that doesn't help you any Becky, but I guess it just depends on who wants it.
Most of the bottles I have seen are either 1 quart or miniature bottles. Don't know if I have seen a pint.

well got to feeling good enough to get out and do some nugget hunting , went toa little flea market down south of here just above the tenn border ,bought a box of old whiskey bottles , this one caught my eye and why I bought them . plus had some nice KY bottles also . ;)/>
