Have purchased a couple of these from a European ex BF employee.

It has been translated to me that these are from 2014 and have something to do with "Finlandia Vodka Cup" ??

I do not know if these were prizes or what :(

All I was told is they are very limited sets (3x sets to be precise)

I did post these on FB and had many positive comments and one negative :)

Anyway, just wanted to share with you guys on MH, any info would be really good and helpful.

If you have seen the post on FB, apologies for boring ya again lol

Thanks for showing these. Really different and neat. I note you say you got 2 of them. Maybe you would be interested in selling 1 for the price you paid for the 2 (Or whatever you need).

PM me if you like

Cheers

It's the same old story, a collectible is only worth as much as the buyer is prepared to pay, I wouldn't have anywhere to display it and it wouldn't fit in my collection so I personally wouldn't value it very high at all, however someone who likes to concentrate on Gentleman Jack items would pay more.

How much did you pay for them ? Warren has offered the price you paid for them both which sounds like a great deal for you.

You are right there Max. 1 mans rubbish is another mans treasure. Like anything, we all have a limit and a figure we want to pay for any item, whether it is worth it, that will always be up for debate IMO.

For example: I do not believe the 10 mill case bottle or scenes 1 ~ 1 ltr is worth what they sell for :) That is me

I have yet to meet any people who have ever sold to me anything JD for what they have paid.

So, I wont be selling at cost price

If anyone wants to me an offer, feel free to send me a PM

Thank you

I have to agree on the 10 million case bottle, I refused to pay the price for a regular black label bottle with a different label slapped on the front especially knowing that many unused labels fall into the wrong hands.

Scene 1 litre is a little different, that's quite an old bottle now, off the top of my head I think it came out about 1998 and the first release in any collectable series is usually the most sort after.

As for selling at cost price, I help friends on here all the time get stuff from the UK at cost price but in turn I always get offered stuff at cost price and rarely have to pay more than the retail price for a new release so it works both ways ;)

New release stuff in UK, for sure I would sell at cost as I did recently for a collector in Italy, sent 12x bottles of UK fire for cost of bottles and actual postage, did not make a penny.

Now you have been around much longer than me so you have more contacts etc etc, I would expect people to help you out.

I have a few good contacts here and there but I know they are still making a profit, that is fine with me, I do not expect to buy anything rare for cost!

It does not work like that, or that's how I see it

I will sell one I'm sure, but to who, well who knows. :)
