So they are not completing the set of unaged and rested? That seems odd

I believe the new Single Barrel Rye was released at the Distillery today. I saw a picture with someone having a signed box by Arnett, along with the picture of the bottle. Bottle dated 12/10/15.

Wrong, now they say Rye not to be released until February in the picture I saw.

Now I believe I am correct when I say the new Rye bottles are for sale at The White Rabbit. I saw some pictures yesterday of them sitting on the shelves. The date on those bottles were 12/10/15.

I happened to stop by the distillery on my way home from Nashville on Saturday (1/30), and did find the new Rye for sale...around $51.00, I believe. Just like the ones Jim saw, mine was bottled on 12/10/15.

Found the Single Barrel Rye on-line at a store (Liquorama) in Upland, California (east of Los Angeles)

http://www.liquorama...skey-750ml.html

Unfortunately they do not ship to locations outside of the U.S., and there's about six states in the U.S. they can't ship to.

Since they do ship to Michigan, I ordered two bottles which I should get later this week. I have no idea what the bottling date is on those two, but I'll post it when they arrive.

Also, as luck would have it, my sister's boyfriend was in Tennessee this past week on business and he stopped by the distillery in Lyncburg (his first visit) and picked me up a bottle of Single Barrel Rye at the White Rabbit, with the 12-10-2015 bottling date... that one will go in my display case with the rest of the collection when I get it later this week.

So by next Sunday I'll have my first taste testing with my buddy and fellow forum member, Squire Steve, and I'll post my humble opinion and pictures after that!

Tony  (AJ Jack Daniels)

Hi Rich,

I hope to make it again on May 7th in Fort Wayne.

Will let you know for sure in a week or so, we just need to finalize when we will be back from California around that time?

Tony
