Since there are only 150 of these being made & available to collectors, we better get in line.

I think it is a beautiful collectable.

You are right Terry, its a stunning bike but sadly no room here to display one   : then there's the small issue of cost - I can only dream   :D   :bike

There's a couple more links on here about it http://maxwellshouse...e-jack-daniels/

I am personally still confused abot this promotion action :-/ Why Indian Motorcycles and Jack Daniels??? Great collectible piece to have, no question ( the barrel head looks great also! )  :o This American legend was dead for 50 or 60 years! After the third reactivate of this company they are back on the motorcycle market and now they are worth to create a promotion bike for Jack Daniels??? I have more and more a big grin in my face when I hear or see the new Indian Motorcycle fans   :D maybe I am too young, but sorry this is not my way! Germany is flooded with Indian Motorcycles dealerships  :o and I think the speciality of this American legend is gone!!! So why they will melt into this company what has bought a name ....... ??? My two cents  ;)

Lutz this is my opinion:
Indian (as you say) has been dead for some years and now they are back. Indian now belongs to Polaris Industries - a very big group with a lot of cash in hand.
Polaris saw that there is opportunity to enter the "heavy cruiser" motorcycle market and steal market share from fhe all time Harley-Davidson legend.
Biggest market is of course the USA - all other markets are cherry on the pie.
So by cooperating with Jack Daniel's (another US iconic brand) they will attract the wider US audience.
In my opinion Harley should had done this BUT they did not and Indian jumped on the train.
For sure Indian with this move wants to show to the US consumers (and the world) that the Indian name is as strong with other iconic US brands .

All I know at this point is that they released the announcement yesterday to dealers at 7:30 AM EST.  Dealers called in with orders.

All bikes were sold in 8 hours

However, I had ask them to hold me two Springfields. At this point I don't know if they did

You have 1 of 38 that were sold outside of the United States. It's always a good buy if you enjoy it.

Good investment in joy - but the Bike which was sold in an auction for 150.000 $ was number #001 - so no wonder this eagle flew high in the sky.

If you need one of those give a call to Bad Kreuznach - new Bike price way lower than in NY

I'm sure they are all selling to make profit, they are no JD collectors

Must be hard if you win this bike in a competition and you don't like riding choppers   :D
