I think I have talked and mentioned Ray Rogers here on the Forum, but have never done a thread on him.
Well, here is a little information:

He is a very interesting man with a lot of information & stories about the history of Jack Daniel's Distillery & Whiskey.
He is 80 years old & still full of life & energy. He is the kind of person you can set & listen too all day.
Ray worked at the Distillery from 1963-1997 (34 years). He was mainly a tour guide, but worked many other jobs also....as he said, they did whatever needed doing.
He worked for Master Distillers Lem Tolley, Jess Gamble, Frank Bobo, and Jimmy Bedford.
They showcased him in a Distillery brochure in 1978.
They also dedicated a bottle to him in the early 1980's.

Here are 2 of his bottles that I have:

Just unbelievable Mike! You bought some bottles at the flea market and one week later you has them signed from Ray Rogers :o well done! But hopefully you understand that it costs a few years for other collectors around the world to find just a bottle without a signature from Ray? You live on the right place I think!

Here is a trivia question for everyone.

Can anyone guess who the man in the checkered shirt is in these pictures from the Ray Rogers brochure?
