If I know exactly those have never been for sale Buddy - They decided to do the 1850-2000 Commemorative glass bottle instead.

Cause those china decanter did not fit the bottling line.

I think they sell around 1500.-€ if I remember a citation right from Mike.

Not too many around less than 100 I was told by owners in 3 or 4 different Versions, with red writing or red background etc.

This same seller jason19604 keeps relisting this recollection decanter, I bid $700 (cheap for this bottle) last week but I was outbid and the bottle "sold" for $750, it's now relisted again ??? Either the seller found a whole stash of them or he's bidding on his own auctions

you are very near with your thinking Max and i was wrong with 12 of each bottle:

Joachim,
I would be happy to send the bottle to your friend in the USA. As far as the Letters on the bottles, I had 8 bottles with the red letters and they were sold very quickly. I had 16 of the white lettered bottles and I have some of those still available for sale. My grandfather passed away and we were cleaning out his old storage locker and found these bottles. He actually worked in the USA for a German company called "KRONES", they make bottling and labeling equipment. We believe that his where he must have gotten the bottles because he was a field technician and did "set ups" for different machines, he stopped working there about 15 years ago.

His name is Jason Engleman and he is a very friendly man - so sad that he sold all the red lettered!!!!

Wow.  That is amazing.  He had 24 recollection jugs.  I wonder if he took a picture of all of them together.  That would be a cool photo.
