Let's start a thread on Presentation Boxes.
These are wooden boxes with a plaque on the top and a bottle (or bottles) and shot glasses inside.
They can be presented to someone or just authorized by the individual. Those presented to an employee from the Distillery are very rare. Most, like mine, were put together by me and signed (authorized) by the individual.
I would like to see pictures of others that you guys have.

Here are mine:

Joe Fanning, who was over all bottling operations at the Distillery for 30 years.
This is his actual Presentation Box given to him at his retirement.

I am not sure if you mean this one i have but it is also a nice Box. I got it very damaged because of less protection Box and one shot was broken. I spend some time to repair all an a MH member give me a new shot to replace the broken one (by this way again so many thx bro). It have a 1990 BL Fake seal 43% in 700 ml inside. I dont know much about this box i thought it is a item you was able to buy in stores. If somebody can tell me more about it and the worth would be great. THX

Nice box Achim! It is just like 2 of mine, except I took them and got them signed. You did a great job restoring it.

I believe they sold these boxes in the Hardware Catalog in the 80's, but not sure.

Lutz:

These have paper seal bottles in them because that is what I chose to put in them.

You can put any bottle (or shots) you want in them, because they were bought empty (except those who were given to retiring employees).

Thanks for sharing Mike and Achim. I had not seen a double bottle box before I saw the Frank Bobo box. Great items.

Really? I had no idea, but good to know. Is somewhere on the box a year of release?
