Having trouble adding pic..

A shrink seal with 14 4300 57 03 AF

Looking for an approximate date used.

I have a bottle with 1972 bottle markings.. Should be a paper seal bottle with a modern looking seal

with above coding... Its a put together bottle I received with a display stand years back from ebay..

Also has a bar code on back label.

I will look for help posting pic.

Since all this talk about fake bottles out there, I want this to be shown as well.

Think I got it..

Hi Mike, when it is a bottle from 1972 then it must be a 4/5 Quart ;) and at this time was not a indentification about a number from a shrink seal available! And yes you're right at this time it must be a paper seal also!!! When this two pictures from your '72 bottle, then I would say that the front label looks good to me but the back label and the shrink seal is just from a younger bottle! JMO

Great to see you figured out the pics - could you upload a pic of the base for us ? A 1972 should be 4/5th quart rather than 750ml but even if it’s an 82 it should have a fake seal rather than a glossy seal

As Lutz says - I think we were replying at the same time but with the same thoughts

Cello is not from the 1972

There was no such thing as a 750ml in the 1972 as your back label indicates

And there were no Bar Codes in the 1972.

Looks like you have a drinker, but what would you be drinking would depend on what it was refilled with !

Thanks Guys !!  I missed it, I see an 84 on the bottom as well.. The 72 was so strong looking I didn't check further..

Now it makes a bit more sense , with the labels... but that seal.. Looks perfect, but we know ..not correct.. This goes into

the I don't know WHY someone would do such an obvious fake bottle, file... wish I would have saved the ebay listing..

I called him out on it before I purchased it..but it came with this stand, so I had him send it, so I could examine further...

Just pulled it out again recently, since I have been pouring over my collection to see what I want to part with.

Thanks for the help. Want to add pics, but do not see that option on this screen.

I don't know if there is a specific thread, but we have something wonderful, where you can find answers for all your questions. It is JeePee website :)
