Memorial Day Service in Lynchburg
Posted 29 May 2018 - 01:31 PM
It was to honor our past & present veterans & those who have given their lives for the freedoms we enjoy.
It was the 26th year Lynchburg has had this event.
We had the Pledge of the Allegiance, National Anthem, Laying of the Wreath, Raising of the Flag, Playing of Taps, and Prayers.
The National Anthem was sung by a blind girl who's two grandfathers served in WWII.
The speaker was an Air Force Veteran who was a pilot in the Vietnam & Korean Wars who flew the first supersonic spy plane of the US.
Here are a few pictures.

Respect for all the people who risked there live for our freedom.
All gave some, some gave all.
