We have a new Distillery in Lynchburg. It's next to the Winery & owned by the same people.
I hope they don't run Jack Daniel's out of business! :)

Well they made the winery a huge success - I still can’t believe how big that place is when you walk through the small shop front.

Alcohol to taste in Lynchburg and to buy as well?

did I miss something or is there also a special law for this? as JD is allowed to sell special/collectors bottles.

I guess they are using the same license law that Jack now use on their tasting tours - VERY small sample amounts for taste test only

Got a bottle of their new whiskey Saturday at the Frontier Days auction. Looks like they are using Jack's promotional ideas. They have shots, cork stoppers, and shot glass coasters.

I was going to open it to taste, but noticed on the back label of the bottle it was from the 1st batch and bottle #33. I think I might hold on to it.

I'm not sure Max. I haven't been in there yet.
I saw the owner of the new Distillery on the square this afternoon & told him about the bottle. He said to hold on to it.
He also said they have only made 5 batches with 50 bottles in each batch. They are working to get more bottles available as soon as possible. They were working on their tasting room today.
