Some more pictures, I’d seen it and had discussions with one or two friends, I absolutely love it but I’ve never seen anything like it and couldn’t find any info on the distributor, I’d love to see it in person, the label looks mint, maybe too mint for being 100yrs old, the back side of the label is still very bright but my gut instinct says it’s genuine and extremely rare

Freeburg is a small rural community an hours drive from my home, located on Hwy 63 in Missouri. I am pretty sure that the Struckenschneider is a local distributor from the area..Never seen that label before either but sure got my attention ..

I always heard that while the distillery was in St Louis, there was very little ever sold or even bottled .. The water in Missouri is real good in some places but not everywhere.   St Louis water SUCKS !!!!  That was always the reason for little if any being put on the market..   This must be the exception !!

I will do some investigating. to see what I can find out ..

I did not find much  but..   Freeburg was settled by Germans in the 1850s, Freeburg was platted in 1903, soon after the railroad was extended to that point. Population  was 437 at the 2010 census..
